Josh Wilson was invited to Grey Court School to take part in their multicultural week. Grey Court was Josh’s secondary school which meant it was also a trip down memory lane!
The day involved Josh taking part in a panel with fellow alumni of Grey Court which included Dr Kate Mtanadabi who has practised as an NHS medical doctor for 20 years, and is also a Performance and Leadership coach. There was also Joe Bradley who runs his own start up. Finally, there was Amanda Boothman who joined Josh and the fellow panelists, Amanda is a Director of Brand and Innovation Strategy. The panel initially spoke with students from Year 9 and then were joined by students from the Grey Court Sixth Form. They discussed their careers and what they did, plus gave advice. Once the panel had finished, each alumni was able to speak to the students in smaller groups. It was great to see such a vast number of students interested in the TV industry as a future career.
Once the panel was finished, it gave Josh a chance to tour his old secondary school. He even ran into some familiar faces as a lot of his teachers were still there! As you will see below Josh is with his teach Ms Price!
A big thank you to Grey Court School for hosting us and we look forward to returning in the future.
