The Metro discussed how the TV industry would recover from the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. As many productions are still on hold, being shut down or being cancelled altogether, it is causing a huge strain on the whole industry especially for freelancers that productions rely so much on.
Metro spoke to Josh and a course leader at Birmingham City University called Vanessa. Both spoke about the impact this would have on the industry. Speaking about productions, Josh said, “if there’s no appropriate way to produce them and make sure they go out how the broadcaster wants them to put then of course they will pull them,” Josh said. “They wont really have a choice.”
