Men In Black always had the potential for so many new stories and avenues to explore, so it is no wonder that they made another one starring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. Although rather then keeping to the streets of New York, it seems this film will be visiting quite a few locations around the world.

The film is directed by F. Gary Gray, who has also worked on ‘Fast and Furious 8’ and ‘Law Abiding Citizen’. This will be the first MIB movie not directed by Barry Sonnenfeld.
The film stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. Both Hemsworth and Thompson have worked together before in the ‘Avengers’ series.
Also starring in the film is Emma Thompson who is reprising her role as ‘Agent O’.
Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith stated they would not return for this film.
The film is set 7 years after the last MIB film.
The film was announced in 2017.
Oren Uziel wrote the film. Uziel also wrote ‘22 Jump Street’.
The film was originally supposed to be released in May 2019 but was pushed back to June 2019.
It will be 22 years since the first MIB film was released.
This movie led Matt Holloway and Art Marcum to write ‘Masters of the Universe’.
Filming took place in New York, London, Italy and Morocco.
It was reported in 2018 that Hemsworth and Thompson would star in the film.
Principle photography began inJuly 2018 in London. Filming finished in October 2018.
This film was supposed to have a cross- over between the MIB and ‘22 Jump Street’, however the idea was scrapped as it seems it was too complicated to work out a deal that worked for both franchises.
Discussing Thompson’s character, producers Laurie MacDonald and Walter Parkes said “All screenplays usually go through many lives, and certainly in these movies you go through many plots and set pieces – all of those things can change. But the one thing that stayed through all the drafts we did was her character.”
